Discounted parking is available at the indoor municipal parking garage on Free Street, located one block past the Museum & Theatre and at By the Bay Parking on 40 Spring Street. Be sure to bring your ticket in for us to stamp!

Metered parking is available in two hour increments on Free Street and on the streets around the Museum. Meters are $1.00 per hour and take nickels, dimes and quarters. And if you come to visit us on Sunday they're FREE!

On extremely busy days, you might find the nearest lots and garages full. Try the Gateway Garage on High Street, just a 4 minute walk from the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine, or one of the many local lots on our parking map:

Please note that the parking lot adjacent to the Museum & Theatre is privately owned by a nearby business and is no longer available for public parking. This lot is occasionally open to the public on Saturdays at the discretion of the lot's owner. The Museum & Theatre is not responsible for the lot and cannot guarantee its availability.
