In this special family-friendly show, the Cassatt String Quartet and narrator Anna Gravel will perform Lighthouse Keeper: The Story of Abbie Burgess by Delvyn Case. Guest narrator Anna is a film and stage actress, singer and filmmaker who discovered her passion for acting at age 8 and went on to earn her BA in Theater from University of Southern Maine.

Lighthouse Keeper is based upon the inspiring, true story of Abbie Burgess Grant, the teenager who heroically tended a lighthouse off the Maine coast during one of the greatest Nor'easters of the nineteenth century, saving the lives of countless sailors. In this interactive performance, children sing along with Abbie, urging her to face her fears as she climbs the lighthouse stairs, chips the ice off the great windows high above the raging sea, and steadies her hand as she lights the wicks of the great beacon. Please note seating is limited and is first-come, first-served.
