'Math All Around Us' Day!
Join us to celebrate math all around us through storytelling, art, science, and play. Measure, taste, and graph "ugly" vegetables, bargain in the Farmers' Market, destroy small buildings, create life-size cityscape artwork, and explore the exponentially extraordinary folktale, One Grain of Rice. From toddlers to teens, no one is too small to join in! Leave thinking about math in a new playful light.

Squid Dissection
Did you know squid crush their food with bird-like beaks and have a gland full of ink they spray when scared? Join us to learn all about squid--inside and out--in this hands-on dissection workshop! We'll compare the squid's body to our own bodies, discover how sea creatures live their lives underwater, and create sketches of our dissection to take home.

$5/members, $6/visitors plus admission. Register online, call (207) 828-1234, or stop by the front desk. Suggested for ages 4 and up.
