Squid Dissection

Did you know squid crush their food with bird-like beaks and have a gland full of ink they spray when scared? Join us to learn all about squid--inside and out--in this hands-on dissection workshop! We'll compare the squid's body to our own bodies, discover how sea creatures live their lives underwater, and create sketches of our dissection to take home. Suggested for ages 4 and up.

DIY Twinkle Lights

Design and create your own unique set of twinkle lights to hang in your room or brighten a summer garden party! Add beads, fabric, and tissue paper to each light to transform your string into fireflies, a colorful party decoration, a night light, and more while we listen to music and summer stories.
