Reba Askari Director

Emily M. Dixon Director

Emily (she/her) is so excited to be back directing in her favorite theater. Previous directing credits include DRAGONS LOVE TACOS (CMTM), GRUFF! (CMTM) and SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL (Lyric Music Theater). When not in the theater, Emily spends her time on adventures with her wife and daughter, cheering for the Hearts of Pine, and learning how to garden. She hopes this play reminds you that with a little support and belief in yourself, you can do anything you set your mind to. A huge thank you to Katie and Carson for always believing in me.

Marissa Morgans Stage Manager

Marissa (she/her) is positively bubbling with excitement to be stage managing FINDING NEMO at CMTM! Previous CMTM credits include Performance Stage Manager for STELLALUNA, as well as occasionally stepping in to SM SHREK THE MUSICAL: TYA VERSION. Marissa has also worked with CMTM as a Theatre Production Intern, where she co-taught last year's playwriting class, stage managed the 2025 Youth Playwriting Festival, and assisted in many other behind-the-scenes tasks. When Marissa isn't in the theatre, she enjoys exploring new places, much like her underwater friends in FINDING NEMO. However, she is thankful for GPS, so she can always find her way back home after her adventures.

Laura Gerry Music Director

Laura (she/her) is thrilled to be back for another adventure at CMTM! This underwater saga is her fifth show as music director at CMTM - previously she has also worked at Portland Players (ANNIE) and Royal River Community Players (CHARLOTTE’S WEB). Although you will never see Laura swimming in the cold waters of Maine, she has been to the Great Barrier Reef and loves the amazing, colorful sea creatures there! 

Emma Tompkins Choreography

Emma (she/her) is a local choreographer & performing artist working with several theaters throughout Maine. She is thrilled to be back at Maddy’s Theatre helping to bring FINDING NEMO to the stage! Emma’s latest works include AMERICAN IDIOT with Portland Players, STELLALUNA with CMTM, NEXT TO NORMAL, SOMETHING ROTTEN and SPONGEBOB with Lyric Music Theater. Emma's favorite roles onstage include; Jordan Baker in THE GREAT GATSBY, Young Eva in AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME, and Chutney in LEGALLY BLONDE. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Anna Halloran Costume Design

Emily Kenny Lighting Design

Emily is super duper excited about working on FINDING NEMO! Emily enjoys designing lights for local theatres in her down time as a cleaner. She would like to thank her dogs, Tater, Fenrir, and Samus for their continued support. Enjoy the show!

Cara Groome Props Design

Cara is a visual and theatre artist who is an upcoming senior at Penn State, majoring in Visual Art Studies and minoring in theatre. Her recent credits include set designing for THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (Abridged) [Revised] [Again] and puppet design and creation for THE OREGON TRAIL, both at Penn State Altoona as well as props designing for MACBETH at University College Dublin. This is their first time working for CMTM and she has loved diving into the world of FINDING NEMO with the rest of this team.

Sage Bartlett Scenic Design

Sage is a Maine-based theatre artist who dabbles in scenic design, painting, props fabrication, and puppetry. A graduate of the Theatre program at the University of Southern Maine, Sage is also part of the Facilities Department here at CMTM. When not covered in sawdust or paint at work, Sage can be found making quilts or spending time outdoors. Some favorite theater credits include: set designs for REALLY at Mad Horse Theatre Company, SPONGEBOB at Lyric Music Theater, SHREK THE MUSICAL at CMTM, BABY SHARK at CMTM, and puppet design for KNUFFLE BUNNY at CMTM.

Ryan McGowan Sound Design

Ryan (he/him) is a composer, audio engineer, and sound designer. He has done sound design and music for productions at Portland Players, The Theater Project, CMTM, Mad Horse Theatre Company, The Theater at Monmouth, Penobscot Theater Company and Portland Museum of Art.

Adam Corriveau Puppet Design

Adam (he/him) is a Portland, ME based writer and maker. His recent work has been seen in Portfringe, Mad Horse Theatre Co., Portland Theater Festival, Forge Theater Lab, and CMTM. Adam is the host and co-creator of the Grumbo series, including GRUMBO’S BIG NIGHT, GRUMBO’S LONELY CHRISTMAS, and GRUMBO: PRINCESS DREAMS. To the weirdos, thank you.

Elliot Nye Puppet Design

Elliot (he/they) is jazzed to be back building yet more puppets (or in this case, puppet) for CMTM. Elliot has previously built puppets for THE LITTLE PRINCE, STELLALUNA, THE NEVERENDING STORY, BLUEBERRIES FOR SAL, and many other productions. Yay puppets!

Finn Schiebel Puppet Design

Finn (he/him) holds a BA in Technical Theatre and Design from the University of Southern Maine. While he has dabbled in lighting and costuming, his passion lies in Prop Design. Some of his previous roles include Props Designer for SHREK THE MUSICAL: TYA VERSION (CMTM), Props Designer for NAKED MOLE RAT GETS DRESSED (CMTM), Props Designer for the 2025 & 2026 Maine Playwright’s Festivals, Assistant Scenic Designer and Props Designer for LITTLE WOMEN (USM), Props Designer and Set Dresser for THE BIRDS (USM), Props Designer for GIANNI SCHICCHI (USM), Props Designer for JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN (USM), Props Designer for RED RIDING HOOD (CMTM), and Props Designer for the Maine premiere of THE PROM (USM).
