Message From Reba
Welcome to the 2025–2026 Children’s Theatre Season at CMTM's Maddy’s Theatre—a season we’re calling Tales of Togetherness!
There’s nothing short of magic in children’s theatre—where stories unfold before our eyes and families come together to laugh, reflect, and grow. In these shared moments, young audiences see themselves in the characters on stage—facing challenges, asking big questions, discovering courage, and learning to love who they are. These tales spark joy, invite curiosity, and remind us all—children and adults alike—that we’re not alone. Through storytelling, we find connection, belonging, and a deeper understanding of what truly matters.
This year, our stories have tails—and tales! From a deep-sea dance party in BABY SHARK to a bat learning to find her wings in STELLALUNA, from rocking out with Wilbur the naked mole rat to journeying through the stars with THE LITTLE PRINCE, and of course, joining Shrek and Donkey on their hilarious quest—each show is packed with heart, smarts, and surprises.
These productions are crafted to spark imagination and connection. They invite us to cheer for courage, celebrate what makes us each unique and unites us, and most importantly, these plays invite us to laugh—loudly and together.
I can’t wait to welcome you to the theatre. Let’s make some magic.
With joy,
Reba Askari
Theatre Artistic Director, CMTM
