Youth Theatre Opportunities
Auditions & Crew Opportunities for Youth
Dream of acting? Curious about what goes on behind the scenes?
The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine (CMTM) is casting youth performers for our 2025-2026 season — and we want to see you on stage (or backstage)!
Youth actors (ages 10+) gain a high-quality, supportive theatre experience designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and foster collaboration. Whether it’s your first time onstage or you’ve already caught the theatre bug, this is your chance to shine.
Backstage Crew opportunities for youth ages 10–17 are available! After attending an interactive workshop, crew members help with set changes, prop handoffs, and more, making theatre magic happen behind the scenes.
Auditions and crew workshops are held throughout the year—no experience necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Let’s create something unforgettable together!
