Tips for Visiting

  • Reserve Tickets in Advance: All visitors, including members, have the option to reserve museum tickets online before visiting. Walk-ins are accepted if performances or play sessions are not full.

  • Parking: Parking is available throughout Thompson’s Point and is managed independently from the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine. All parking is pay-to-park, monitored 24/7, and costs $2 per hour. Visitors can pay via the Passport Parking app (zone 1213), by credit card, or with coins at kiosks. Accessible parking spaces are located near the Museum & Theatre entrance and playground. Free short-term parking (15 minutes or less) is available in Lot 2 near Brick North.   • Plan for Water Play: The water play area is a favorite among kids, but they often get wet even with aprons on. Bringing a change of clothes is recommended .
