Play Your Way - A Sensory-Friendly Halloween Event

Friday, October 30, 2026 | 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Play Your Way is a monthly sensory-friendly play time open to anyone who would benefit from a quieter, low-key experience. This is the perfect time for families affected by Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or other challenges to explore the Museum & Theatre, meet other families with similar experiences, and see if the Museum & Theatre is the right fit for you and your family.

In October, we're celebratoin Halloween with a warm, welcoming, and indoor trick-or-treat celebration. Make your way through trick-or-treat stations in the museum exhibits, explore a Sensory Slime program, and help yourself to a snack. Treats are a combination of peanut-free candies as well as small toys and fidgets.

This event is free, but reservations are highly recommended.

The event will include: Trick-or-treat stations featuring sensory-friendly fidget toys and a small selection of candy; Halloween-themed art activity; time to explore exhibits at your own pace; a small, allergy-aware snack; a trick-or-treat tote bag.

Play Your Way is a free event series made possible by the Pond Family Foundation and the Judith Glickman Lauder Foundation.
