Mighty Women Makers: A Celebration of Women in the Arts!

The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is celebrating Women’s History Month with a series of MakerSpace programs highlighting Mighty Women Makers. Join us each Wednesday in March to learn about innovative women in the arts, test new materials, and create amazing artwork of your own!

Each program will feature a different artist. Learn about influential creators like sculpture and installation artist Yayoi Kusama, quilted portrait artist Bisa Butler, and animal painter Rosa Bonheur. Study their work, then try making an art piece in their unique styles.
