Meet the Artists: Father + Daughter Team Bill and Rowan Mimikos

Everyone’s favorite clownfish is swimming onto the CMTM stage this summer in Disney and Pixar’s FINDING NEMO: A 60-Minute Family Musical!

The story of a devoted father crossing the ocean to find his son, this fin-tastic adventure is bursting with music, color, and larger-than-life ocean creatures. Making this production extra special are Bill and Rowan Mimikos – a real life father and daughter team who are playing the roles of Marlin and Tad/Gurgle, respectively. We spoke with Bill and Rowan about their experience working on this production together.

Meet the Artist: An Interview with Jenna Gutierrez

Each season, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine invites an artist to help bring our theatre season to life through original artwork that captures the imagination of our audiences. For Season 102, we’re thrilled to showcase the vibrant, whimsical designs of illustrator and art educator Jenna Gutierrez. A former CMTM team member and current Boston-based art teacher, Jenna brings a playful, collage-inspired style rooted in her love of childhood cartoons, creative exploration, and arts education.

We caught up with Jenna to learn more about her journey, her creative process, and the inspiration behind her artwork for our 2025–2026 season, Tales of Togetherness.
