Spread love and kindness in your community, reflect on what you hold near and dear, and celebrate love during this week-long celebration filled with interactive activities. Add a heart to the collaborative “What I Love” wall in CMTM’s atrium.

Create handmade Valentine’s Day Cards to give to friends and family using special papers and collage techniques for one-of-a-kind creations in MakerSpace. Make sure to bring home a heart from the ‘Be a Kevin’ table, in honor of Portland’s legendary Valentine’s Day Bandit and spread the love in your own community, just like Kevin did anonymously for decades.

Explore special programs, STEM experiences or interactive storytimes throughout the week.

For Tots: Little Lovebugs Bash

Get ready for the sweetest celebration of the season! Celebrate Valentine's Day with Little Lovebugs Bash, a Love Day party made just for tots and their favorite grown-ups. This heart-filled event will be buzzing with joy and magic.

• Sweetheart Cookie Creations: Bakers can scoop, squish, and decorate pretend cookies made with love.

• Tiny Wings Dance Jam: Shake your antennae, flap your wings, and dance along with the lovebug beat!

• Lovebug Dress-Up Delight: Flutter, crawl, and play in lovebug wings, antennae, and heart-themed outfits.

• Little Blooms Flower Shop: Play in a sweet mini flower stand where little hands build colorful bouquets for their favorite people.
