Afternoon Art is a one-hour opportunity for in-depth creation. Each week, we will meet at the studio table to learn about a different artist or maker and experiment with the mediums or styles they are known for. This week, we will focus on the work of Kandinsky and his "Color Study: Square with Concentric Circles" piece. For Kandinsky, color meant much more than just a visual component to a picture; He believed color was the soul and essence of a work, and he was very interested in how colors affect each other.

Free choice materials will also be available during this session.
